Context and Identified Problem:
An industrial facility sought to reduce its dependence on the conventional power grid and lower its energy costs while adopting renewable energy sources. It was essential that the installation complied with height work safety
regulations and national electrical standards.
Implemented Solution:
We installed 200 solar panels of 250 W each, connected to four 15 kW inverters. The panels were oriented southward with a 10° tilt to maximize solar capture. The project was carried out in full compliance with CFE regulations and
NOM-001-SEDE-2012, and strict safety protocols for working at heights were implemented.
Results Achieved:
- Sustainable generation of 50 kVA of energy, reducing operating costs.
- Full compliance with electrical and safety regulations.
- Optimization of warehouse space through rooftop installation.
- Contribution to sustainability and reduction of the company’s carbon footprint.
Coordination and Execution:
The installation was carried out in coordination with the maintenance and industrial safety teams, ensuring a smooth transition without disrupting plant operations. The project included staff training on photovoltaic system maintenance
and monitoring.
