Certified protection for every height maneuver

Certified installation of horizontal and vertical lifelines

Context and identified problem:
In several maintenance and operational areas of industrial warehouses, personnel were required to perform height work without continuous anchoring systems, exposing themselves to fall risks from over 4 meters. This condition represented an operational vulnerability and non-compliance with NOM-009-STPS, in addition to increasing the likelihood of serious incidents.

Implemented solution:
After a technical diagnosis of the structures, we designed a combined system of horizontal and vertical lifelines, tailored to the warehouse geometry and workers' routes. The installation included: certified structural anchors made of high-strength steel, stainless steel cable with tensioners and energy absorbers, continuous glide systems allowing uninterrupted mobility, and intermediate and terminal anchoring points for specific work zones. All components were installed in accordance with NOM-009-STPS and ANSI Z359 international standards, using certified technicians specialized in height work.

Results obtained:
- Elimination of unprotected height work zones.
- Minimization of fall risk.
- Continuous worker mobility with no dangerous reconnections.
- Full compliance with national and international regulations.
- Increased operational confidence and fewer incidents.

Coordination and execution:
The project was developed in coordination with the maintenance, industrial safety, and production departments, scheduling the work to avoid interference with daily operations. Load testing and tension verification were carried out on each installed line, with the corresponding certification delivered and staff trained on the safe use of the system.
